CAD Data Developer with German and English

ImpacT Hire is actively seeking a CAD Data Developer with German and English for one of our clients — a leading international company specializing in professional software solutions for planning, design, and manufacturing in the furniture and interior design industry.

The role focuses on working with imos CAD/CAM (AutoCAD-based) software to implement and configure digital product data and technical specifications for a well-established German partner. You will contribute to building structured digital catalogs and 3D models used directly in real manufacturing and production environments.
This position is ideal for candidates with an engineering or technical background who enjoy working with CAD systems, structured data, and precise technical implementation.

Responsibilities:
➢ Work with imos CAD/CAM software to configure and implement furniture design and manufacturing solutions;
➢ Develop and maintain 3D models and technical data based on predefined customer specifications;
➢ Create and structure furniture hardware and product data, including components from a wide range of partner products;
➢ Support the development of online product catalogs and digital libraries used in design and production processes;
➢ Document development workflows, standards, and project requirements in the internal content management system;
➢ Collaborate closely with internal engineering and project teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of technical data.

Requirements:
➢ Fluency in German and English (minimum B2 level, written and spoken);
➢ Higher education completed or in progress (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Engineering, Automation, Computer Systems, Industrial Design, or related technical field;
➢ Basic understanding or interest in CAD/CAM or technical design software;
➢ Good computer literacy and confidence working with modern digital tools.

Nice to Have:
➢ Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, imos, SolidWorks, or similar);
➢ Experience working with technical or product data;
➢ Background in manufacturing, engineering design, or production processes.
