Data Engineer – Databricks and Snowflake

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our client’s team – an international IT services company collaborating with leading enterprises on innovative digital transformation projects. This role is ideal for an experienced data professional with strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud data platforms, who enjoys working in Agile teams and thrives in dynamic environments with direct business impact.

You’ll be part of a collaborative data engineering team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions across multiple cloud environments. This includes working on data pipelines, integrations, and data warehouse architectures while ensuring quality, performance, and business value. Our client is a trusted technology partner with a reputation for technical excellence, agility, and outcome-driven delivery. Responsibilities:
➢ Design and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, and DBT;
➢ Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and Spark;
➢ Contribute to data warehouse architecture and big data integration concepts;
➢ Develop data workflows across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms;
➢ Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment;
➢ Support code reviews, testing, and documentation of data solutions;
➢ Participate in customer projects and be open to business travel when required.

Requirements:
➢ 3+ years of experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks;
➢ Strong programming skills in SQL, Python or Spark;
➢ Solid experience with ETL development;
➢ Deep understanding of data warehouse architecture and big data integration;
➢ Broad cloud platform knowledge (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud);
➢ Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Nice to have:
➢ Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric;
➢ Experience with SAP Data integration;
➢ Previous work with BI Tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau);
➢ DBT knowledge.
