Project Delivery Manager – fintech field

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our partners – a technology-driven organization developing and maintaining complex financial software solutions, including back-office systems, payment platforms, customer portals, and client data management systems.

We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager who will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and operational control of multiple software development initiatives.
The role combines strategic oversight with strong operational execution, focusing on delivery predictability, team coordination, process optimization, and achievement of business objectives within Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities:
➢ Organize, manage, and oversee the full lifecycle of software projects – from planning and development to deployment and ongoing support;
➢ Coordinate the work of Backend and Frontend development teams, QA engineers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Project Managers;
➢ Monitor sprint execution, epics, timelines, and project deliverables;
➢ Ensure control over project deadlines, priorities, resources, and development quality;
➢ Collaborate with product and technology leadership on task definition and prioritization;
➢ Lead operational meetings, sprint planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives;
➢ Monitor team workload, efficiency, and delivery performance;
➢ Track project KPIs and ensure alignment with business objectives;
➢ Identify delivery risks, blockers, and organizational challenges and drive corrective actions;
➢ Maintain transparent reporting to senior leadership regarding project status, timelines, risks, and resource allocation;
➢ Contribute to the optimization and improvement of software delivery and project management processes;
➢ Support team development, recruitment, evaluation, and growth of technical talent;
➢ Drive discipline, accountability, coordination, and operational effectiveness across teams.

Requirements:
➢ 8+ years of experience in Managmant filed;
➢ 4+ years of experience in IT leadership;
➢ Experience managing multiple parallel projects and cross-functional teams;
➢ Proven experience managing Backend and Frontend engineering teams;
➢ Strong hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint-based delivery;
➢ Experience managing projects related to financial systems, back-office platforms, CRM systems, customer databases, or web platforms;
➢ Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering processes;
➢ Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms;
➢ Strong organizational, prioritization, and dependency management skills;
➢ Experience tracking KPIs, delivery metrics, and team performance;
➢ Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities;
➢ Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:
➢ Experience within financial services, payment systems, or high-load critical environments;
➢ Experience managing shared or distributed teams;
➢ Agile, Scrum, or PMP certifications;
➢ Experience optimizing delivery governance and operational processes at scale.
