Senior Full Stack Developer – Vue.js and Django

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients – an international FinTech company developing a modern digital marketplace for the mortgage industry, connecting lenders and investors through smarter pricing, automated eligibility, and end-to-end transaction management.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer who will take end-to-end ownership of product features – from the Vue.js interfaces used by customers, through Django APIs, to the underlying pricing and eligibility engines. This is a hands-on role within a small international team where engineers have significant ownership and can see the impact of what they build quickly.

Responsibilities:
➢ Design and develop features across the full stack using Vue.js, TypeScript, Python, Django, and Django REST Framework;
➢ Take end-to-end ownership of features, from frontend interfaces and APIs to backend business logic and data models;
➢ Develop and evolve core product engines related to pricing and eligibility matching;
➢ Integrate the platform with external systems and third-party providers;
➢ Design scalable data models and background processing pipelines that maintain performance as transaction volumes grow;
➢ Build and maintain automated tests across the stack using tools such as pytest, Vitest, and Playwright;
➢ Contribute to the architecture, scalability, performance, and maintainability of the platform;
➢ Work closely with an international R&D team and business stakeholders across Europe, Israel, and the US.

Requirements:
➢ 5+ years of professional experience building production software, with strong hands-on expertise across both frontend and backend development;
➢ 3+ years of hands-on experience with Vue.js and TypeScript;
➢ Strong Python and Django experience, including Django REST Framework and REST API development;
➢ Strong database expertise, including schema design, query optimization, and safe database migrations;
➢ Experience working on complex platforms involving integrations, significant data volumes, and scalable systems;
➢ Strong understanding of modern frontend development and a good eye for UI/UX;
➢ Proven experience working effectively in fully remote engineering teams;
➢ Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage several parallel workstreams;
➢ Excellent written and spoken English, as it is the working language across the international team.

AI Experience:
➢ Strong practical experience using AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar as part of the daily development workflow;
➢ Ability to work effectively with multiple AI agents while applying strong engineering judgment to their output;
➢ Hands-on experience building AI capabilities into a real product, such as LLM-powered features, AI agents, retrieval systems, or evaluation frameworks – not only using AI tools for coding.

Tech Stack:
➢ Frontend: Vue 3, TypeScript, Vite, Pinia, Vuetify, Tailwind, Shadcn, Vitest, Playwright;
➢ Backend: Python, Django, Django REST Framework, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch, pytest.

Nice to Have:
➢ Previous experience within FinTech, mortgage technology, financial services, or another complex transactional environment;
➢ Experience with OpenSearch;
➢ Experience with Playwright;
➢ Experience working on products involving complex third-party integrations and data-intensive workflows.
