DevOps Engineer

We are currently hiring a DevOps Engineer for one of our clients, a large international organization with a strong focus on digital transformation and operational excellence. The client develops and manages high-load systems used in logistics, supply chain, and automation across multiple countries.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud platforms, automation, monitoring tools, and CI/CD environments while being mentored by experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:
➢ Assist senior engineers with the technical setup, management, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines;
➢ Monitor the availability and performance of critical production services;
➢ Help migrate locally deployed services to Kubernetes environments;
➢ Work with log aggregation and monitoring tools for performance insights and troubleshooting;
➢ Maintain infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability;
➢ Participate in software deployments and configuration management using Ansible;
➢ Engage in infrastructure automation and support testing environments;
➢ Receive training on enterprise-grade logistics systems handling high message throughput;
➢ Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Requirements:
➢ Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or a similar role;
➢ Strong working knowledge of Linux systems;
➢ Experience with building and managing CI/CD pipelines;
➢ Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools;
➢ Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure;
➢ Hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google Config Connector;
➢ Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Thanos, and Grafana;
➢ Proficiency in Git and working with GitLab/GitHub workflows;
➢ Good command of English (spoken and written);
➢ Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn and take initiative.

Nice to Have:
➢ Experience with FluxCD or GitOps principles;
➢ Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET;
➢ Understanding of virtualization and container orchestration;
➢ German language proficiency is considered a plus.
