DevOps Network Automation Engineer

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients — a large international digital technology organization responsible for building modern IT solutions, infrastructure, and platforms used across a major European enterprise group. The company is shaping the future of large-scale retail and logistics with cutting-edge technology, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

As part of their expanding Network Engineering & Automation unit, we are looking for a DevOps Network Automation Engineer who will design, develop, and optimize automation frameworks, workflows, and integrations that power a next-generation cloud-managed network environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys bridging network engineering, DevOps tooling, and automation — and who wants to work in a modern environment built around Mist AI, cloud-native infrastructure, APIs, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities:
➢ Develop scripts, tools, and API integrations (Java, Python, REST, JSON, YAML) to optimize operational processes, rollouts, and monitoring;
➢ Build and implement automation workflows between Juniper Mist, ServiceNow, and internal systems;
➢ Design workflows and apps supporting operational teams (ticket automation, inventory automation, alarm correlation, etc.);
➢ Contribute to the documentation and standardization of the new network architecture;
➢ Analyze and leverage Mist AI features — telemetry, anomaly detection, self-healing capabilities;
➢ Collaborate closely with Network Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, and ServiceNow development teams to ensure seamless integration and platform consistency;
➢ Support continuous improvement of automation, deployment, and monitoring processes across the network environment.

Requirements:
➢ Minumum 4 years of experience as an Automation / Integration / DevOps Engineer;
➢ Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines;
➢ Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL);
➢ Experience with network technologies (Mist Cloud, JunOS, or similar environments);
➢ Strong background in network automation using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or similar frameworks;
➢ Good understanding of ServiceNow — integrations (REST/SOAP), workflow design, CMDB structures;
➢ Understanding of modern network and cloud management architectures;
➢ Ability to work in cross-functional environments and communicate effectively with engineering and operations teams.

Nice to Have:
➢ Knowledge of SD-WAN automation;
➢ Deep understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, and network operations;
➢ Experience with network observability, monitoring, or AI-driven network platforms.

What We Offer:
➢ Personal educational budget and ongoing technical training;
➢ Foreign language classes and international learning programs;
➢ Access to a physical and digital technical library;
➢ 25 days of paid annual leave;
➢ Comprehensive social package — additional health and life insurance, transportation allowance, sports card, and other benefits;
➢ Flexible working hours and a hybrid model (60/40 office-to-home);
➢ Participation in internal hackathons and innovation events;
➢ Modern office environment with recreation areas (table tennis, football, PS, billiards, chess);
➢ Cozy office building next to a park, with underground parking spaces;
➢ Snacks, fruit, and beverages available on-site.

If you’re passionate about network automation, cloud-managed platforms, and creating efficient, scalable engineering workflows, we’d love to hear from you.
