Senior Full Stack Java Developer

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients — a leading international product company developing advanced software solutions for logistics centers and automated warehouse operations. Their technology powers robotic systems, conveyor networks, and intelligent automation modules that significantly reduce the physical workload of warehouse employees and enable high-efficiency supply chain management.

As part of their growing engineering organization, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer who will play a key role in designing and developing applications that optimize logistics processes, warehouse capacity planning, delivery scheduling, and supply chain performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of backend-focused problem-solving, architectural thinking, and front-end collaboration within a cross-functional international team.

Responsibilities:

➢ Design, develop, and maintain applications used across retail logistics and automated warehouse environments;
➢ Work end-to-end across the product lifecycle — from concept and architecture to development, testing, and deployment;
➢ Collaborate closely with product owners, analysts, and other engineering roles within international teams;
➢ Develop solutions focused on supply chain optimization, warehouse capacity planning, and operational efficiency;
➢ Optimize warehouse space utilization and delivery flows through data-driven algorithms;
➢ Build and maintain high-performance services integrating with robust databases, messaging systems, and microservice components;
➢ Contribute to architectural discussions and actively shape the evolution of core systems;
➢ Support containerized microservices deployments in Kubernetes environments.

Requirements:

6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security);
➢ Experience developing full-stack solutions, including front-end work with Angular;
➢ Strong knowledge of microservice architecture;
➢ Experience working with Kafka in distributed environments;
➢ Practical experience deploying containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes;
➢ Good understanding of relational databases and experience optimizing queries;
➢ Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving approach, and ability to work in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban);
➢ Motivation to work on backend-focused tasks and complex logic related to logistics and supply chain optimization.

Nice to Have:

➢ Understanding of mathematical optimization techniques or algorithm design;
➢ Interest in software architecture and DevOps principles;
➢ Familiarity with Terraform;
➢ Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred);
➢ Strong analytical skills and familiarity with logistics, supply chain concepts, or operations research.

Benefits:

➢ Personal educational budget and ongoing technical training;

➢ 25 days of paid annual leave;

➢ Additional health and life insurance, transportation allowance, sports card, and other benefits;

➢ Flexible working hours and a hybrid model (60/40 office-to-home).

*The organization has a hybrid work arrangement, and employees are required to visit the office at least 2 times a week.
