Full-Stack Java Developer

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients – an international organization undergoing a large-scale financial transformation program.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Java Developer to join a Mortgage Modernization unit, working on modern, cloud-based microservices architecture.
The role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full stack – building backend services in Java and developing responsive frontend applications using Angular, while collaborating with international teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:
➢ Develop and maintain backend services using Java within a microservices architecture;
➢ Build and enhance frontend applications using Angular and modern web technologies;
➢ Collaborate with architects, senior engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions;
➢ Design and integrate RESTful APIs and support client–server communication;
➢ Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, and production support;
➢ Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processes;
➢ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments;
➢ Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to best practices;
➢ Work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.

Requirements:
➢ 4+ years of experience in Java development within a team environment;
➢ 2+ years of experience with Angular (TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS);
➢ Experience working with microservices architecture;
➢ Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and service integration;
➢ Solid experience with SQL and relational databases;
➢ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI);
➢ Experience with unit testing frameworks;
➢ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira;
➢ Good command of English.

Nice to Have:
➢ Experience with Node.js and npm ecosystem;
➢ Exposure to NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB;
➢ Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS;
➢ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
➢ Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ;
➢ Experience working with distributed or enterprise systems.
