IT Architect with German (DLP filed)
- Full Time
- Sofia, Bulgaria
We are supporting a large international technology organization that is strengthening its cyber defense capabilities through modern Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. To support this mission, we are looking for an IT Architect (DLP) who will design, evolve, and optimize the IT architecture supporting DLP controls across complex enterprise environments.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in information security architecture, DLP strategy, and large-scale enterprise systems who enjoys working closely with both business stakeholders and technical engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
➢ Analyze the existing IT infrastructure and system landscape in the context of DLP — ensuring hardware, software, and integrations effectively support both business and security requirements;
➢ Develop IT architecture concepts and plans for DLP initiatives, including integration of new security technologies into existing environments — serving as input to the product roadmap;
➢ Work closely with stakeholders such as Information Security (2nd LoD), DLP Backoffice, and Business Units to translate requirements into secure and practical IT solutions;
➢ Advise the Product Owner on technology choices, solution design, and best practices to ensure future-proof and scalable DLP platforms;
➢ Identify opportunities to automate DLP processes — including potential AI-driven enhancements;
➢ Ensure architectural consistency, alignment, and integration with other DLP-related IT services and enterprise platforms;
➢ Monitor system performance and conduct ongoing assessments to identify improvements and efficiency gains, acting as a 1st LoD control on DLP processes;
➢ Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, data privacy, and works council stakeholders to ensure compliant and effective DLP operations;
➢ Support internal and external audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
➢ Proven experience as an IT Architect, preferably within cyber risk, information security, or DLP environments;
➢ Strong understanding of DLP technologies and controls, including email / web / filesharing policies, data classification & labeling, policy enforcement, and endpoint / network DLP concepts;
➢ Solid knowledge of network & data security, cloud infrastructure, and secure data transfer protocols;
➢ Experience designing technical solutions and writing architectural / functional requirements to be delivered for implementation;
➢ Ability to analyze complex system environments and translate them into clear architectural direction;
➢ Awareness of common data egress vectors and evolving cyber threats;
➢ Experience working with agile delivery models, service management practices, RACI frameworks, and KPI-driven reporting;
➢ Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), hybrid cloud environments, and data lifecycle / governance concepts;
➢ Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
What We Offer:
➢ 25 days of annual paid leave;
➢ Premium health & dental insurance;
➢ Food vouchers;
➢ Multisport card;
➢ Coverage for certifications, trainings, and conferences.
If you are an experienced cybersecurity professional with a passion for building enterprise-grade data protection capabilities, this is an opportunity to define the future of DLP within a large international organization.
