Senior Java Developer

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients — a leading international digital technology center transforming the way large-scale enterprise systems are built, tested, and delivered. The organization drives innovation through automation, agile practices, and continuous delivery, providing a dynamic environment for technical mastery, growth, and meaningful impact.
As part of their ongoing expansion, we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a cross-functional engineering team that delivers strategic automation and development expertise across multiple global initiatives.

Responsibilities:
➢ Contribute to the design and development of functional solutions implemented by the engineering team;
➢ Implement backend and frontend components of credit applications, requiring strong technical understanding combined with process awareness;
➢ Develop, document, and communicate solution concepts across distributed teams in Sofia and Frankfurt;
➢ Define functional test scenarios and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure robust delivery;
➢ Analyse and design solutions for incidents or production issues in close collaboration with cross-team stakeholders;
➢ Serve as one of the technical experts within the Scrum team, participating in the end-to-end lifecycle of financing applications (design, development, implementation, and support).

Requirements:
➢ At least 5 years of professional experience in Java development;
➢ Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot;
➢ Solid understanding of RESTful web services and API development;
➢ Experience with JavaScript and React;
➢ High adaptability and comfort working in a fast-changing environment.

Nice to Have:
➢ Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Kafka;
➢ Experience in enterprise-scale environments or international teams.
