WordPress Developer

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with expertise in WooCommerce plugin development and custom functionalities to join a dynamic team working on a project for a leading e-learning platform. The platform provides video-based training courses, requiring seamless user experience, optimized performance, and advanced tracking integrations.

Responsibilities:
➢ Develop, customize, and optimize WordPress and WooCommerce plugins to enhance website functionality.
➢ Implement custom WooCommerce features to ensure seamless course purchases and content access.
➢ Develop and integrate tracking tools for digital marketing, including analytics, conversion tracking, and SEO optimization.
➢ Ensure seamless integration with third-party APIs and tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and CRM systems.
➢ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve WordPress and WooCommerce performance issues.
➢ Optimize the platform for speed, security, and SEO best practices.
➢ Work closely with designers, marketers, and developers to create a user-friendly learning experience.
➢ Maintain high-quality code, documentation, and version control (Git).
➢ Stay up to date with WordPress/WooCommerce updates and industry trends.

Requirements:
➢ At least 2 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a focus on WooCommerce development.
➢ Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
➢ Experience in developing and customizing WordPress and WooCommerce plugins.
➢ Knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, and REST API.
➢ Familiarity with tracking solutions, analytics integrations, and digital marketing tools.
➢ Experience with performance optimization techniques (caching, CDN, database optimization).
➢ Good understanding of SEO best practices.
➢ Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and other tracking tools.
➢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
➢ Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
➢ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Nice to have:
➢ Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
➢ Knowledge of WordPress security best practices and hardening techniques.
➢ Experience with AI-powered tools and automation in WordPress.
➢ Prior experience working with Agile methodologies and version control (Git).
➢ Familiarity with cloud hosting solutions (AWS, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud).
