IT Project Manager with German (Networking background)

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients – an international technology organization delivering large-scale IT and infrastructure projects across complex retail operations and business environments.
We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager with German to join a dynamic international team focused on coordinating rollout activities, infrastructure migrations, and operational project delivery across multiple European locations.
The role combines project coordination, stakeholder management, vendor communication, and operational execution in a highly collaborative environment. A hybrid working model (60/40) is offered.

Responsibilities:
➢ Coordinate rollout activities related to store openings, closures, migrations, and hardware deployments;
➢ Act as the main communication point between internal stakeholders and external service providers on project management level;
➢ Collaborate closely with business, sales, and operational teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery alignment;
➢ Define project priorities and monitor rollout timelines, delivery progress, and operational quality;
➢ Track and review rollout and decommissioning activities while ensuring proper documentation and reporting;
➢ Support implementation and optimization of rollout-related processes together with internal and external stakeholders;
➢ Prepare stakeholder analyses, KPI reports, and rollout performance documentation;
➢ Coordinate communication activities and ensure timely follow-up on operational requests and escalations;
➢ Identify project risks, blockers, and operational issues and escalate them proactively when necessary;
➢ Support post-migration and hypercare activities to ensure stable operational transition.

Requirements:
➢ 2+ years of experience in project management, ideally within complex operational environments;
➢ Previous experience managing infrastructure, network, or rollout-related projects;
➢ Experience coordinating vendors, suppliers, and external service providers;
➢ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
➢ Hands-on and solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership mentality;
➢ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
➢ Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach;
➢ Experience with project management tools and reporting platforms;
➢ Willingness to travel within Europe when required;
➢ Fluent German and English – both written and spoken;
➢ Previous experience in network-related environments is considered a strong advantage.
