Product Owner (DevOps Focus)

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients – an international technology organization currently expanding one of its engineering teams.
We are looking for a Product Owner with strong DevOps background, who will take ownership of product processes, backlog, and delivery within a CI/CD-focused environment.
The role sits at the intersection of DevOps and product ownership, with focus on driving processes, aligning stakeholders, and supporting engineering teams in delivering stable and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:
➢ Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap in alignment with business and technical objectives;
➢ Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable user stories and development tasks;
➢ Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring proper prioritization based on business value;
➢ Define acceptance criteria and ensure backlog readiness ahead of sprint planning;
➢ Review and accept sprint deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with expectations;
➢ Drive process improvements across CI/CD and DevOps-related workflows;
➢ Track product and process performance metrics and drive continuous improvements;
➢ Ensure stable operations aligned with SLAs, security standards, and regulatory requirements;
➢ Collaborate closely with cross-functional and distributed teams within a SAFe framework;
➢ Participate actively in Program Increment (PI) Planning.

Requirements:
➢ 4+ years of experience in DevOps practices, particularly within the Software Development Lifecycle and CI/CD;
➢ Hands-on experience with Jenkins and/or TeamCity (mandatory);
➢ Experience with cloud environments such as Azure and/or GCP;
➢ Solid technical background in managing server-based systems and applications;
➢ 1–2+ years of experience in a leadership or ownership role (Product Owner experience is not mandatory);
➢ Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a SAFe environment;
➢ Ability to work with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders;
➢ Strong communication and organizational skills;
➢ Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:
➢ Experience as a Product Owner or similar role;
➢ Experience working with CI/CD platforms or developer tooling products;
➢ German language.
