Senior Data Engineer

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients — an international technology organization developing large-scale data platforms supporting logistics, supply chain, and production domains.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing modern data solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to scalable, high-performance data architecture.

Responsibilities:
➢ Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architecture and data pipelines;
➢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions;
➢ Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across data workflows;
➢ Optimize performance and reliability of data systems and pipelines;
➢ Develop and maintain data transformation processes;
➢ Act as a technical consultant for other teams, sharing best practices in data engineering;
➢ Contribute to CI/CD processes for data pipelines and infrastructure;
➢ Support data-related initiatives within logistics, supply chain, and production domains.

Requirements:
➢ Minimum 6 years of experience in Data Engineering;
➢ Hands-on experience with Snowflake (including Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, etc.);
➢ Strong experience with data transformation tools such as DBT;
➢ Experience with orchestration and scheduling tools (e.g. Control-M, Google Cloud Composer);
➢ Strong SQL skills;
➢ Experience with Python for data transformation and automation;
➢ Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform / OpenTofu;
➢ Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data workflows;
➢ Proficiency with Git (GitHub / GitLab).

Nice to Have:
➢ Experience with SAS (Statistical Analysis System);
➢ German language skills.
